Cringeworthy Prince Lyrics?

We all know that P's genius defies description, but are there any of his lyrics that just make you go 'hrm, not sure about that'?

For me I've always had a problem with 'Look up in the air, it's your guitar!' in Cream, it just doesn't sit right with me.

Others include: 'I can't have a hug, unless I have a kiss' in Insatiable.

'[You know how much I love you], More than I love my hair!' in I Like It There, I mean, it's funny, but come on.

When I hear that he's changed the lyrics to songs like Sexy MF and others, that's when I cringe. I can't stand the fact that he does this and acts like it's a great thing. It's awful IMO. I realize these are his songs to do with them as he likes, but cleaning up the lyrics to past songs is just plain wrong and unnecessary.

All of the lyrics on Dead On it are truly cringeworthy, yet the song works. Others that come to mind

"Soda fizzin on the lawn", "I'm a workin at my jobba", "If dogs could climb, then we would have a funky good time", "4 someone who can't stan TVdinners, u sho eat enuff of dem muthafuckas" Surprisingly though all these songs with bizarre lyrics are first rate. The one in my sig is an example of bizarre yet workable lyrics.
