You here Prince chuckle at the end of the song? The song is meant to be a joke...fitting considering the "plot" of the album. Think of it as a spoof, not a song.

It's clearly sung with humour, there are far worse songs in the Prince canon, ones that are created in all seriousness sick

I love it and it is meant to be a joke-I think it is also pinched with a bit of arrogance as Prince throws in a bit of Stoccato(?) Mozart.

I always felt more Bach than Motzart. The whole thing sounds more Baroque to me than anything, a little slowed down, but still Baroque. The key solo On When Doves Cry is typical Baroque.

One bright day in the middle if the night,
2 dead boys got up to fight.
Back 2 back they faced each other,
drew their swords and shot each other
A deaf Policeman head this noise,
he came and shot the 2 dead boys.

yup...I stand corrected!. I see what u're saying more than what I did. It seems like an Homage to Gilber and Sullivan completely. I was waaaay off base.

with all seriousness aside...look at what I found along the way

Cant stand when people actually consider Wedding Feast a song. It's more of a skit.

Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

Does a one minute interlude count as a song?????!?!? Or does it have to say interlude on it?!?!?
