Which Prince song reminds you most of a past relationship?

Listening to a Prince song I haven't listened to in ten years, because it was too painful---"I Hate U" off the Gold Experience, which of course, is about anything other than hate...shows the ambivalence of emotions in a deep relationship and the flip-side relationship of love...the love/hate, yin/yang component...and even after all these years...it brings tears to my eyes. Would like to know what other fans experiences are!

Whenever this persons sister knew I was on the phone, she would yell/growl the title of the song...u know...how it's sang in the song. I could always hear her in the bkgrnd. All cuz my handle is BobGeorge. She was familiar with Prince as well.

or better yet i think a better describtion would be

Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad? i never had a boyfriend and this song fits me prefectly as far as my "relationships"

a yo prince im really happy for you imma let you finish but Michael Jackson had one of the best records of all time!

I always think about the song amillion Days, cause when I had a man in my life it felt like I wasn't being true to myself, he was real mean to me most the time, thinking about not being present in my own life is a scary feeling, but I also had to be a bit numb to deal some of the trouble my eyes have seen

Strange Relationship.

Right after the relationship ended, I listened to the song in a live version from some Hawaii tour/concert. In a weird way, the music made me happy and cheerful... I was glad the relaionship was finally over, and the music made me wanna go crazy dancin'!!

all my past relations have had to deal with me being a fam....Some songs are painful but over time i have been able to build up an emotional tolerance and detached the girl from the song.....

Hmm... Well there's 2 songs that stand out the most. Both are opposite experiences.
Insatiable- reminds me of a great time in my life when I had many relationships.
No i wasnt in love, but had several girls I cared about and dated for quite some time. Very unique combination of lovers and friends.
Pheremone- This song, I dont listen to very often. Its a cool track, but It was a very very very painful time in my life when I purchased the Come album. The whole album depresses me, but for some reason Pheremone takes me back to that time more than the other songs. Broken heart, emotional breakdown, family problems, days at a time with no sleep... The most Miserable phase of my life thanks to one girl.

So anyway.....
