It was cool live on the D&P tour. He took a camcorder backstage and filmed himself + filmed him and Mayte skating round the stage.

It was played a lot on R&B stations, not so much top 40 stations. As far as bad quality, I assume the poster meant when the video shows what the woman filming is seeing through her cam? The outfit was awesome, the sleeveless version was used in several promo shots to promote the cd. I remember it in black and red. The first party at Paisley Park I ever went to, he was wearing it in black.

I don't remember it getting much air play, I also remember the single for "Diamonds and pearls" was released about one week later. They didn't give it much of a chance.

Insatiable was a big hit in my area. They played the radio edit all of the time. It still gets a lot of air play on the quiet storm format.

I know the song. Not well, because I never really liked it. In 2003 I came across another very groovy song called insatiable..."when the music starts to play...I'm insatiable" so this one gets my love instead. I've never seen the video & though i've just tried it won't play in my region. On D&P I would jump from $ don't matter to "live for love."
