When Doves Cry - The screams! How can you not love this? And after the screams, the beat just stands out more and I just keep rewinding it.

The bridge in "Take Me With U"..."all I want is to spend the night together"...magic!

Or, the middle breakdown of "Computer Blue". When the Kid's Dad plays it on the piano in Purple Rain when he stumbles upon his Dad in the cellar, its such a heartbreaking piece of music....stunning!

I guess there are many moments when I go back in my mind remembering listening to Prince music.

And listening to songs over and over again.

A line that will always pleasantly haunt me is..."Here we are, in this big ole' empty room." My soul just wanders the Universe there. cool

Last Night, I spent another lonely Christmas...Darlin' Darlin' U shoulda been there.~Prince.

I have loads of favourite moments, any of the screams/gasps just make me weak at the knees razz At the moment though I'm loving that last bit at the end of 'Strange Relationship' where it goes 'Can't live with cha, can't live without cha' and then 'I think you and I got a...' it just sounds awesome, I love it. biggrin I don't know whether anyone else knows the bit I mean.

Both solos in "Let's Go Crazy".

The call for "All the white people clap your hands on the 4 now".

The guitar playing as "Forever In My Life" fades.

The piano playing as "How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore?" fades.

Bar stools creaking during "Sometimes It Snows In April", and the sounds of the fingers on the guitar strings.

"Confess you bitch!" "WHAT?" "You just want me for the sex" in "The Sex of It".

The screams, and the general arrangement of "Willing & Able" on the D&P Video Collection.

When Michael B's earphones fall of during "The Morning Papers", and there's a drop in the drum playing, but he immediately picks it back up on the next down beat. Prince left that "mistake" in, and it works. I think it's at the 3:29 mark, there's a pause there that normally wouldn't be for the drums. It's so natural, you'd never think it was a mistake.

The scream in "Endorphinmachine". The solo in "Gold". Those are more emotional that anything Prince has ever said in words.

i gotta think about this... so many to choose from..

but right off the bat, gotta go with the guitar solo and then into the screams on When Doves Cry. That is what hooked me on Prince when I was about 12. Fuck yeah that was awesome cool

Concur. Along with the bit in We Can Funk when the tempo builds - "You can blow the candle off baby, you can turn the candle on....."

I think my fave of ALL TIME.....

...is the bridge between "Forever In My Life" and "It" in the sign of the times movie.

a second close is the guitar Solo in "The Jam" on "The Love 4 One Another" TV special...a close second to that is the guitar Solo on "The Jam" in "The beautiful Experience."

One bright day in the middle if the night,
2 dead boys got up to fight.
Back 2 back they faced each other,
drew their swords and shot each other
A deaf Policeman head this noise,
he came and shot the 2 dead boys.
If you don't believe this lie

Oh my list is wayyyyy too long. But one song that jumps to mind at the moment: when he beatboxes at the end of Poom Poom. He is really feeling it!

There's a bunch, but often his voice amazes me. Like on "Gotta Broken Heart Again" from "Live From Aladdin" when the saxophone and Prince's voice "plays" together. That's incredible! Prince is one of few musicians that actually gives me moments when I totally "leaves Earth" and becomes one with the music.
