How many Prince songs do you have?

I've got 537, according to iTunes: all of the official albums (excepting the title song & non-P tracks from Graffiti Bridge) & a few little extras I've picked up here & there over the years. According to the Play Count I've put Black Sweat on more than anything else, though that of course only shows what I play over the crappy speakers at my desk (on a relatively new computer) & doesn't reflect my iPod activity or decades-long Prince involvement.

I'd be curious to know how much Prince the rest of you have.

all Prince albums on CD except C-note,

I have no idea how many songs that is...

I have 23 cds. Some doubles or a triple. Not gonna count the songs.
On Itunes/ipod at present 53 tunes.

my itunes says : 2773
but that doens't include like... 70-80 bootleg cds ..
so all audio must be like 3500-4000 songs

Lots, more than I need, I just save the ones I like the most to the Ipod, which is a measly 371 songs

over 300 gig., in songs = over 15,000 that i have added to WMP,

obviously a lot are live renditions and outakes. and that doesn't include flac files

on my iTunes there's over 2500 credited to Prince and all applicable pseudonyms. Probably another 300 credited to various proteges and cover artists/tribute albums. Vinyl and cassette not on my iTunes is about another 300 under Prince and proteges & covers.

About 3100.

Keep in mind that's including live versions, remixes, extended versions of the same tracks. For example I've got 8 versions of Adore in my iTunes. So a lot of these number are 'technically' duplicates of the original.

That should be factored in to people's "surprise" or reaction to the numbers. If we JUST counted albums and singles, we'd all have relatively the same amount of songs, give or take a 12" or two. (I uploaded it years ago on a.b.m.p. and other newsgroups.) I also count the two other boots I made. Purple Rain: Severe Storms - The Extended Forecast, and Parade: The Show Will Proceed. Both are mixing the movie and the 12"/B-sides, etc into one long radio show type format. They were just flat out fun to put together.
