he wrote kiss, i.e. the lyrics and chords, but had little to nothing to do with the final result of what makes kiss the song that it is. On the one ya'll say housequake, top of your body let me hear ya shout!

Brownmark all but claimed he wrote "Kiss". Of course it was right after he left The Revolution. Ernest L Sewell, IV

When you were mine was written by Dez Dickerson. They say Do me, baby was written by Andre Cymone and in a interview AC seem to imply that he wrote I feel for you. [Edited 10/12/09 14:31pm] I thought it was rumoured to have been wrtten by Morris Day, in return Prince hooked The Time up with WB [Edited 10/12/09 14:57pm] Grandma's hands clapped in church on Sunday morning, Grandma's hands played the tamborine so well.

bonatoc said: You fool. Not only Prince composed all the songs he sings, he also composed all the songs of any other artist you've ever listened to. In fact, The Vault contains enough songs for all the singers in the world until the end of the century. ur mama

Brownmark all but claimed he wrote "Kiss". Of course it was right after he left The Revolution. just going by the acoustic kiss demo on the work and the stories i've read, i feel pretty sure prince wrote the lyrics realllly quickly over a basic I IV V progression. but i don't doubt that without brownmark, the song wouldn't be what it is. On the one ya'll say housequake, top of your body let me hear ya shout!
