Dr Funkaberry: Rumoured gig sat La Cigale I am hearing RUMORS and RUMORS only that Prince MAY play somewhere this weekend in Paris. Now, I have heard nothing official at all so take it as a RUMOR for now and if it goes down, I will let you know.

This is probably gonna be for celebs and such. I mean to say he MIGHT be playing a show at a venue in a few days isn't much use for the average fan now is it? I wish Prince would do a proper tour, with normal notice, at a normal price so that his fans, most os us normal people can see him. After all, it's legions of normal people who bought into his music and gave him the life he has today. 3121 | |

 Don't even try it. You know exactly what that means. It means sit around, hoping wishing and praying, that this is true for the next few days and if Prince finally decides he's gonna do a show. You'll get notified at the last minute, probably have to line up at the door and wait for hours and hours. Prince may or may not show up until around 3am and then he'll do what he does 'til after dawn and the damn the folks who are tired, worn out or whatever. It's his world and you are supposed to be happy that he allowed you in pay him to be in it at all.  Of course, I'm a Liberal! I'm an American, damn it!

I live in on the Eastern coast of the United States and have no intention of ever going to Paris. but I was referring to the fact that the thread says "Possible rumor". I remember the days when rumors were not allowed to be threads, only if you had the facts. R.I.P housequake. | |
