Songs with interesting fade-outs There are a couple of songs that when fading out you kinda get the impression that there's a more interesting bit to follow.

I always wished there was an extended version of strange relationship capturing that clinical, robotic, clean and cold outro 2009: Mermaids and Dolphins...

Sometimes I've had to crank the volume right up just to squeeze that last drop of music out Songs like, "How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore" , "Strange Relationship", or to the real extreme "Life Can Be So Nice" (goddam there must be a longer version of this somewhere) Why u wanna treat me so bad...I would give my right testicle to hear the studio version of the exstended jam .....well not my testicle...but a good amount of money...lol [Edited 9/23/09 12:04pm]

Doesn't the original unreleased version (with the long sitar intro) contain an extended portion of the outro? I don't have it near me at the moment, I'll have to give it a listen later. "Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad" is one of my choices as well. Love that ending, wish there was more! But the one I would most love to hear more of is "Forever In My Life." That cool acoustic guitar that comes in right as the fade begins is one of my favorite parts, I'd love to know where that went (if anywhere).

The original unreleased version with that sitar intro is much better..I love it. I'd like to hear extended version of the Question Of U - just with some weird effects and the stuff like that Imago: "You look My cover of the "Crush" by Smashing Pumpkins: http://prince.org/msg/15/314710.

When U Were Mine Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad Computer Blue even after the 15 minute version it STILL sounds unfinished All The Critics Love U In New York Little Red Corvette America gosh theres so many more America? Have you heard the extended 12" version? That fade out on the album plays on for 20 minutes...I don't think I would want any more! The Little Red Corvette 12" also continues from where the album fades out. I agree with Annie Christian, there are so many cool bleeps and sounds at the fade that I want to hear more.

"Can't Stop This Feeling I Got" also has a cool fade out that starts to veer the song in a different musical direction for a few seconds before it finally fades. "I Was FINE Back in the Day!"

An interesting add on to this would be which tracks with fades have extended versions floating about? This is untoward! This is not toward! |

I always had the short version of Always in my hair with the fade out. Took me a while to find out there was an extended and I was very happy with it.

Except the testicle part. when I 1st herd it...I thought prince played some evil trick on us... teasing us by fadeing the song out, right at it's best part... and i still think he did it with wanking us on his mind,...prince is probably somewhere like

VICKI WAITING The guitar kicks in just as the song is fading out. Worst thing is that you hear some of what continues during the movie when you are at Bruce Wayne's party. That pisses me off even know, knowing it exists and sounds good from what I hear in the movie. Yes. Definitely my choice as well. I also love the fade out on The Time's "I Don't Wanna Leave You" - just smacks straight into a completely different groove and tempo before fading out, leaving the listener like "WFT?" I Know we're talking about 'Fade Outs' but I've always really dug the Intro to: 'Dear Michalangelo' off of Sheila's Album 'Romance 1600'

The horns get really interesting at the end of Dear Mr. Man. "What kind of fuck ending is that?"

Why you wanna treat me so bad is just that song that's fun on the studio version but best left for the stage, which clearly showed back in the early 80's
