Extra Lovable is one of the best Prince grooves ever
Maybe he can get the Rape part out of the song

and re-record that song
Lyrics are something he can sing today
and it would be big hit

I can't belive he never released it,but there were rumours before musicology got out that Extra Lovable will be there.

When I went back and read Blackguitaristz's thread on "All The Hippes" I immediately though of this song. So she appeals to white people?

Amazing groove anyways, and keep the rape section in it. Anyone have any stories of how people have reacted when they first heard the end? I showed my friends. Bricks were shat!!

I'm not quite sure what our Little Prince was thinking when he included these verses. Like today, and even back then, rape wwas/is the ugliest 4 letter word. Swearing is one thing and is easier to accept.

I think with I'm on the verge of rape he thought he couldnt fight the temptation

IF he hadn't included the part about Dez not digging his band, it would have been a cool b-side to Little Red Corvette. It certainly would have been better than a b-side like "Horny Toad". He could have also edited out the part about Dez since Dez was still in the band, although he was on his way out after the 1999 tour. The "Don't make me rape u" bit, hell, P could have easily left that in. It certainly would have fit in line with the rest of the somewhat violent imagery of certain elements of the 1999 album. I just don't think P was that on fire about the track overall to include it on the album. But again, it would have been a great b-side. Would have loved to have had this as a 12' inch. Also, parts of this has always reminded me of Mazarati's "Strawberry Lover", another song that I ADORE. Maybe that's why P namechecks Brown Mark's name in this more than anybody else's in the song.
