i love this song - a few times i have inquired about a "dance version " i heard around 1998 or so ... i was in a dance club and they played a dance version i had never heard - loved it ... but i have never seen it anywhere for sale , etc ... anyone know anything about that ???

If you listen to Billy's Sunglasses about 80% into the jam out comes Strange Relationship, I think we've concluded that it was made during the 1983/84years

Prince and some revolution members doing those all night studio jam sessions

I wonder did Strange Relationships come out of that jam session or was it already created

..maybe like 8 months ago...i got a cd with prince and his piano...STRANGE RELATIONSHIP was one of the songs...and let me tell u all...IT IS THE BOMB!!!..

..cuz u really hear the emotion in prince's voice as he plays his piano...and then half way in2 the song...prince loses his mind and starts JAMMIN' on the ivory keys like he str8 LOST IT!!!!...

I can listen to it over and over and over and never ever tire of it. Love any and all versions of it.

"Billy's Sunglasses"!! I haven't listened to that in awhile. Love when he does "The Shining" bit at the end.

My only criticism about this song is that it cuts off that strict ending. But yeah, one of his best tracks ever.

This song is a real dilemma:
If he chooses to be with her, it occurs a definete change that he might not want to happen..
If he doesn't choose to be with her, he'll definetely suffer from that choice

My 24 year old niece loves this song.
She's not a huge P fan...but she know when she in my car, we jam P.
