Purple Rain Movie Questions 1st..Somebody please tell me how did Prince and Appolonia hook-up.Bascially the moving is telling me that Prince can get a girl just by looking at them(which is cool). I didn't see any scence where they was talking about hooking-up.

Hey, King! You should really do yourself a favor and find a biography of Prince to read. There are a few good ones out there. They may be a little hard to find but they're out there. If you can't find them at the store they'll for sure be online. I bet they'll answer a lot of questions that you may have. | |

The street scene you refer to was shot in Los Angeles. By the time Prince got to the house in Minneapolis, it was dark. And he was obviously out of breath. 3rd..How did they record the performances?Was he lip-synching?

i recommend u get a book about Prince and if ur a fan u shud have the 2disc Purple Rain DVD and listen to the director commentary,Im sure u will find out sum things. |

Wat do u mean? ur folks wont buy u a book or the DVD? and ill answear question 3. the performances in purple rain of baby im a star,i would die 4 u and pr were lip synched. u can tell if u look hard enough and they were performed live the first avenue concert in 83 when he first introduced sum of the songs off of purple rain. So they used those live vocals for the album versions. I believe there were more lyrics to Purple rain when he performed it for the first time at first ave. |
