It was given to another performer. Can't think of the name right now. I've never heard it though either version. I've got a new thread and a dildo 4 U. If U don't like the new thread then U can go fuck yourself!

What do you all think? I only heard it recently and I like it very much. Is it a popular song amongst Prince fans? Does he/has he performed it live? Retro Prince. I had to listen to it again to remember the lyrics. I don't recall him playing this song. Maybe back in the 80's at a concert...wow! It just hit me that I went to the Purple Rain premiere 25 years ago tonight! "A united state of mind will never be divided
The real definition of unity is 1 People can slam their door, disagree and fight it But how U gonna love the Father but not love the Son? United States of Division"

I like it. I wish Prince had released it with the other demos and stuff on Crystal Ball.

Given to Kahoru Kohiruimaki for her 1989 Time The Motion album. She simply substituted his vocals for her own. The song has a production date of September 3rd, 1989, which probably refers to the final mix date.

She also recorded "Mindbells". Prince and an engineer can be heard talking before the track. It was collaborated with Levi Seacer, Jr Im pretty sure he did background vocals too:D
