On the jubject of Michael Jackson V's Prince. Prince or Michael? this is always debated. What if...I noticed that Michael Jackson (MJ) recorded nine tracks over a four year period, in his hey day before court cases and going in hiding, for each of his albums. He recorded more music than that so he has a lot of outtakes. So what if nine of the very besttracks were taken from Prince's first four albums to make Prince's first album and and then the next nine tracks from four albums to make his second album, and so on(Example: 1978-1981 and then 1982 to 1986, and so on). How would Prince's music fair against MJ's. I reckon, pretty good. I suppose, even that would not make it entirely fair competition because when you mix an album you make each track compliment the next to give it a sort of cohesive flow. You can't do that with Prince but, I reckon the outcome would still be interesting. Did anyone notice the melody n beat for verses on MJ's title track for History is Similar to verse for Emancipation's title track?? It doesnt matter whose wrong or right just beat it Don't hear it personally. btw History - released June 1995 Emancipation - released November 1996. Swa "I'm not human I'm a dove, I'm ur conscience. Swa Plus Jam & Lewis produced the song 'History' so that's reason you're hearing some 'minneapolis' funk in there. Can we all take Swa's advice and stop comparing now? . | |
