Just heard Prince jam on Elvis' "All shook up"...Damn

It may be my new favorite Prince cover. He manages to stay true to the original while bringing in a bit of Jimi and making it his own... If he is gonna do cover (which, really I wish he wouldn't )they should all be this "live" in every since of the word.

I listened to this last night and he tore it up. I dig his version of "Spanish Castle Magic" too. He was really into it that night.

I think his second concert (3/23/09 all guitar show) from that night is probably one of the best "underground recordings" I've heard from him in years.

Sonny T. and Micheal B. seem to really bring out the guitar hero in him.

Loved the version of All Shook Up he did at the Indigo2 in London. 28th August 2007, (well, technically the 29th as it was at the am aftershow).

And now for a cup of tea.

That whole show he is on fire. I absolutely love Johnny B Goode from that show too.
