I got a question though...did Prince ever play at the Apollo? I can't seem to recall if he ever has. Langbleu, has he? Prince played the Apollo theater on March 27, 1993. Lenny Kravitz made a guest appearance during "When You Were Mine". It was during his US Act 1 tour. He had just finished playing his first US dates since 1988. He performed at Radio City Music Hall from March 24-26, 1993. He actually went to Jimi Hendrix's "Electric Lady " studios to put the show on cd on March 28, 1993. |

I heard Steve Harvey talking about this on his morning show this morning, since he was the host for this event. They were/are talking about Prince a lot, such as "Adore" and the Purple Rain era, and his gold outift last night. No real jokes, just conversation in a good way. |

The world's famous Apollo Theater returned to its former glory last night with a gala fete that brought out some of the biggest and brightest of the entertainment and business communities. Celebrating its 75th Anniversary, the historic venue – widely recognized as one of the nation's greatest cultural treasures – hosted its annual spring gala with a three-hour-plus concert and awards gala. So Prince is back in my neck of the woods again. Very nice. He better stay dry or stay in cause the sky is opening up here in NYC. Prince looked fantastic in those pics. Great to see him on stage with Mariah and the one and only Ms Patti. Great stuff. Prince.org is a cemetery where folks mourn Prince instead of celebrate him and his music. Last time I checked, Prince isn't dead yet.

I have been waiting 2 see a picture with P and Mariah 4 quite awhile now and now 2 see it I am SCREAMING on the inside I am LOVIN' the picture of P and MC holding hands MAN 2 of my Favorite ICONS honoring the mother of ALL ICON MS.
