Tick Tick Bang.

I'm listening to "Grafitti Bridge," right now and "Tick Tick Bang," just ended.

As a person, a woman, a Christian even now in life, you can't help but be turned on by this song.

First of all it is such a stimulating temptation as Prince calls her a prick tease. This song can really bring butterflyz that can make U mad and bring tears to just under the surface.

Prince knows it too...This is one of those things that can get U mad with Prince, and at the same time He lures U into his heart.

It's very black and white. It's only terrible if U are not Prince's Lover. If U are, there is at least satisfaction from the teasing that he does. Frankly, it pisses me off.

I cried at Carman's altar in Minneapolis over this stuff. cool

Last Night, I spent another lonely Christmas...Darlin' Darlin' U shoulda been there.~Prince.

The Graffiti Bridge version can't touch the Dirty Mind outtake version
this song in it's Hip Hoppish style doesn't exhibit the song the way it was meant.
the New Wave origins just really make this song xxx
If U think the G.B. versions does that to you... the D.M. version will make you repent of impure thoughts and go on a weaks fast

I look 4ward to hearing that someday...As long as I'm married...I don't need it to fuel me to get into a mustang and put on a huntress attitude...I'm doing good as an Angel right now.

I'm gonna have to married soon if I want to keep my good rep. I'm startin' to get a little shaky in thought. In Jesus name I pray to keep me good...Amen. cool

Sums it up perfectly. That early version is off the hook, and makes the GB version look like pigeon droppings. The GB is over produced, and just over done. I know it was supposed to be the "Darling Nikki" whack-song of the GB movie (you know, the overtly sexual song that everyone hates and Prince looses by playing), but weak in comparison to D.N.

The original version of Tick,Tick Bang was recorded in mid 1981. And it's a Controversy outtake.

Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.
