What's Prince's earliest Hendrix-like tune?

When did we first start to see him really emulate Hendrix? "Let's Go Crazy" is a wah-heavy guitar freakout and there are some similar moments on 1999 but what was his first Hendrix like tune?

In the bridge section of Bambi, the melody line and riff P plays on the guitar is VERY similar to the melody line Hendrix played during the intro chorus to Purple Haze.

Well "I'm Yours" was the first official release where P employed rock in a song but I always considered "I'm Yours" more akin to 70's styled MOR like REO Speedwagon, Boston, Journey, etc than Hendrix.

Prince has always been heavily influenced by Hendrix, listen 2 some of the early Moonsound sessions. Most of the guitar work on those tapes is a mixture between the Hendrix and Santana styles.

But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.
