this 3-LP is a radio show from 9th december 1989, not 1995, not with Prince as Tora Tora, but more likely "Bob George"?

it's a broadcast from the Minneapolis radio station KMOJ, a 2-hour pre-recorded radio show with Prince as a secret host, speaking in a deep altered voice.

songs played with artists like Tracy Chapman, Kate Bush, Jannet Jackson, Grace Jones and several Prince related artists, also played was Cindy C from The Black album.

strange: I have this as 3-LP bootleg, same front pic, but no backside in orange colour.

That's what I said first of all, it was DoctorMambo who said I might be talking about the '95 radio show, I was just correcting him. wink

That's not an official release. This was covered about a month or six weeks ago on here, I think. It's a fan made thing. Sold a lot, and they numbered each one to make it a "collector's item", but it's nothing more than the box with a printed out card in it and the original D&P CD. Nice to have, but not official.

I've always been curious how much one of these would fetch on ebay, never seen one come up before.

In that case, the sleeve and the vinyl don't match. As that picture sleeve was
definitely only released in Holland. It was issued in a standard brown WEA
generic sleeve in the UK.

I think you'll find that the catalogue numbers don't match.
The Dutch cat.no. is WB 26126
The UK cat.no. is K 17537(T)

I have a copy of John L's "Father's Song" CD, which Prince plays on (under the name "Gemini"). The CD, interestingly enough, does not contain the song "Father's Song".

Not quite...
the UK issue lists several numbers on the right hand side of the label.
The number I mentioned is printed large, with a few other numbers underneath, like this...

K 17537(T)
K 17537(T) A*
(FWBD 0168)
(K 26126)
1979
STEREO

You'll notice that the number which matches the Dutch release is listed
with a "K" in front of it, not a "WB". You'll also notice that the sleeve
only lists the "WB 26 126" number. I can assure you with 100%
certainty that the UK release was never issued in a picture sleeve, and
what you have is the Dutch sleeve, but with the UK vinyl inside.

BoraBora

Interesting thread.

Just a quick question on the general view of fans.
I have the original "The Undertaker" CD with the glue on the "playable" side and from the beginning I decided to not try to remove it, still having the chance to listen to it from another source and knowing that the process for remove it can damage the CD itself.

Does it make it less valuable of a "glue removed" CD or being the actual thing it doesn't matter at all?!?!?!?!?

Thanks.

I'd throw in for rarities his Hit n Run tour singles:

Daisy Chain/Gamillah
Supercute/Underneath the Cream

and the rarest, the Peace single which sold out right near the beginning.
