non released tracks played live recently Hey, how many non released tracks has Prince played over the past few years that have not been released on a studio album. There was 12:01 from the Musicology tour, Beggin Woman Blues, P and the Band. Does anyone know of any other songs? What is P and the Band like, funky? Cheers | |

More recently "In A Large Room With No Light". And you can count "Turn Me Loose" on The Tonight Show. It was recorded in studio as well, and was on radio, but has never been officially released as a single or on an album. You could count "Father's Song" too. It was played on the Purple Rain tour a lot, and was only in the movie. "Electric Intercourse" too. "A Case of U" was one of those for a long time, until he butchered it...I mean rerecorded it on One Nite Alone. Ernest L Sewell, IV

"A Case Of U" is a Joni Mitchell cover. For detailed discussion and critical analysis of Prince Music, check out our Aussie podcast: http://peachandblack.podbean.com

"A Case Of U" is a Joni Mitchell cover. You realize I know that? I meant he was pretty well known to do that a lot. Ernest L Sewell, IV
