How many times have you seen Prince live?

I was just curious how many times you all have seen Prince live in concert, and if any one time was better than the others. I myself have only seen him once, June 27 2001 in Omaha. I was a fan (or fam or whatever the hell you want to call it) before the show, but something about seeing him live made me a die hard Prince supporter for life!

Been to every single concert he's played in London since 1988 (lost count how many), as well as seen him 4 times in Paris and been to 5 London aftershows.

I'd hate to think how much in total this has cost me over the years wink, but I have some great memories of them all!

The last performance of Prince I saw was at 'Nighttown' (Rotterdam, 03-11-2002). It was my 16th gig.
My first ever Prince concert was Lovesexy ´88 in Rotterdam (18-08-1988).

I've lost count

i'm lucky to be a MPLS native, so it's over 100...

My favorite stadium show was Lovesexy...my favorite string of Paisley shows were the Emancipation (pre Jam Of The Year tour) shows...

my favorite Paisley experience was accoustic nite at last year's celebration, though...

NONE! And the sad thing is, if I do see him one day, it probably won't be as good of an experience as...say...1985, during the Purple Rain tour. cry

First time in early 1980 or early 80s. Seems like Prince didn't come through my region after that for many moons - not even during Purple Rain era. The rest from 1998 on including the Celebration.

I don't think I'm bitter. I don't have unconditional love for Prince anymore, but bitter is a strong word. I still respect him a lot and think he's top-notch as a live performer.

Lovesexy...needless to say...this was the best. I remember it very well...I can't say that about many thing back then.

Jam of the Year...was REALLY drunk during this one don't remember it too well...saw it in a skybox at United Center in Chicago...all the booze was free, so my girlfriend and I loaded up (we also got a limo so we wouldn't have to drive). I DO remember "Face Down" kickin' ass tho.

Love 4 One Another...I danced my ass off at this one and was right in front...not the best set list(a lot of Chaka & Larry Graham) but still a great show. Too cool being so close.

...I am still pissed that I missed ONA...I moved the same weekend he played Chicago. sigh

don't say that... I was also thinking like that when I say him for the first time this year. Where do you live? Or why can't you go see him next time he tours?
