I was far better on One Nite Alone.

I find the whole ona piano album very boring.

I like them both. We never will get an answer about why P chooses to re-do or re-release this or that song. I am just happy to get them.

My mother always liked his ballads, and his shirts and eye make-up..lol, when this came out she was recovering from Bone Cancer and learning to walk on her new bionic leg. to this day if I play this CD, she always smiles and says I rememebr you played that for me when i was sick and it put me to sleep. Mother is doing fine she is 6 years in remission as of June 25th, Ironically.

I much prefer the MPLSoUND version. However, we don't really know if it's a "new" version. It's likely there was a studio recording of it long before it made it onto ONA and this could be it for all we know.

I hated just about everything else on ONA, but the original of this song was piano perfection.

There was no reason to re-record it.

It's a great redo just like The Dance

It's probably the only real dismantlement of the whole Lotusflow3r set for me. Loving the ONA version, I couldn't help but have high expectations.

The stuttering verses of the new version never really allows the song to flow. It's just too busy, with the song not getting a chance to breathe. In the end, It's only the fact that it's great song that allows it to barely survive this reworking.
