If Prince invited U on stage to sing a song He did that in 2002 on the One Nite Alone Tour, when he invited female fans to sing Manic Monday.

I'd like to sing: Starfish & Coffee Raspberry Beret I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man Sign O' The Times If I had to pick one, that'd be Starfish & Coffee. My friend Connie (Lil Mayte from a.m.p.) sang "Manic Monday" with him at one of the Celebrations at Paisley Park. I still love listening to that mp3, and she still loves the experience. Some of the soundchecks from the ONA tour were great when fans got up and sang. he'd stop a song and say "Oh lord...she's TOO good." Ernest L Sewell, IV

Thats weird cuz i was thinking the same thing the other day..since im GOING to be in the first row when he comes to new orleans. If he picked me, it would have to be better with time. Cuz i can belt that mother out!! The song takes me back somehow...to highschool days, Circa...1986 Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews. | |

He invited me to sing a song during a soundcheck once and I said no. It was at the Empire Ballroom in 06 and the song was "Peach." I did not mean any disrespect. I was afraid of him taking the mic from me, not to mention that I am extremely shy. Later that year he stuck his mic in my face and had me say the "Musicology" part with a big smile on his face. It was like he remembered the fear in my eyes when he asked me earlier. Oh yeah, and the second guy he asked got up and did a great job at the Empire Ballroom. | |
