I am trippin over this song right now and keep playing it. I don't know how I skipped ever over it for so long (oh wait a minute yes I do, it's on Crystal Ball, lol).
It's so sad, I wonder if he wrote it about anyone.

love this song. beautiful melody. great track, glad it was released
on crystal ball in the end.

its quite a song. some months ago I also played it 6 or 7 times in a row. prince has so many unheralded songs that are amazing. that's why he is a genuis.

I LOVE this song. He should have put this on Emancipation instead of The Holy River cause that song does nothing for me but this one does. It's made me a bit misty eyed in the past. It's such a beautiful and haunting song. Fantastic song from start to finish.

Prince.org is a cemetery where folks mourn Prince instead of celebrate him and his music. Last time I checked, Prince isn't dead yet.

musically, thisday has been filled with treasures.

This song is absolutely beautiful...and the lyrics so sad. Prince has been so kind to share such moving melodies and words from the heart.

I started playng this after that Nokia show last month. That show made me appreciate the Emancipation production and sweet side.

dag, i guess i have to go put crystal ball on. i don't remember this track at ALL. i was severely underwhelmed by CB apart from the title track. will have to go back and peep this "gem"

One of my favorites. No matter what era we're talking about, Prince never lost it when it came to ballads.
