I made a Prince room!!!

How sad am I?? lol

Some people are like Slinkies...

They're good for nothing but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

KoolEaze	Your room looks nice. I like the colors and the floor. And the Prince stuff also looks good! You have a lot of rare stuff there. Those framed thingies look interesting. What´s that record with the Parade era suit?

I was sat in my office/spare room (emphasis on spare room) the other day thinking it needed something to jazz it up and decided to start unpacking my Prince stuff. Deffo still needs some work (huge cobweb in corner! lol) and that wallpaper absolutely has to come down!

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe some incense and candles, big fluffy pillows, and a mirror on the ceiling haha

Made mine pale in comparison. I do want to redo a Prince room someday. I had framed a lot of the special vinyl like the purple records (Purple Rain album, 12", 7", and When Doves Cry on 7" purple vinyl, plus the 1999 New Master purple 12"). The room was purple too, but I was never satisfied with it. I think I posted pics on here once of it.

One thing I did with my CDs was buy those CD display pieces that you hang on the wall. They are set in 4 disk squares, and you can snap them together in any formation. One time I had other artists in it and had it in the shape of a cross. With Prince, I just went 8 across and however many down. I need more now. For some stuff, I just printed a cover out to put in a jewel case on there. I had some records framed too in the LP Frames you can buy.

I don't have a lot of the clothing or tambourine stuff. I LOVE the record awards you have. I might get my purple vinyl specially framed up if I ever do a Prince room again.

Truth be told, I've always wanted to get one of those opaque projectors and put the whole cover to ATWIAD on the wall, trace it, map out the colors, and recreate the whole album cover as a mural on the wall. It'd take some work, but man....can you imagine that? I bet I could find a boy and a balloon at a Baby Gap or Kids r Us or something.

This room is very nice...I have the same question about the "Purple Box." It almost looks like a raindrop...but more paisley shaped. cool
