The Apollonia 6 Look is BACK!

Hi Y'all!

Alright, eaqrlier tonight, I was browsing the web looking at different style sites just to see what trends I'd like to try.

Eventually I ended up on a blog called D*ana's Dirt (think Perez Hilton with boobs) and there was a pic of singer Lady Gaga that caught my eye:



Don't look at her face, cause that's a train wreck in makeup, but take a peep at her outfit.

A jacket, lingeries, fishnets and boots--it SCREAMS Vanity/Apollonia 6.

I almost yelled when I saw it. (maily cause the face scared me)

Wanted to throw that your way.

OK I have to admit..... I like the outfit just not on her.

The Apollonia 6 style was ahead of it's time and so was the line in DMSR: "Nevermind your friends, girl it ain't no sin 2 strip right down 2 your underwear."

Too bad Prince travelled back in time and got conservative.

Lady Gaga is a hack and a joke. I've yet to hear any of her songs all the way through. I can't get past a minute in the song before I am switching the channel.

I heard a striped down version of her songs Poker face and i was impressed but the album version is REALLY BAD. She should just stay from electronica music and put some cloths on. She's so un-original it hurts.

To those who don't like her music - have you heard her live?

She performed on a couple of shows over here in the UK, and I'll admit to being very surprised by how good she was.

She's not the next Madonna, she's far more like Bjork with a bit of Christina Aguilera mixed in. It'll be interesting to see if she focuses on selling records, or if she's allowed to make the sort of experimental, trippy music she seems capable of.....

PS - no mention of the famous rumour on this thread?? I'm shocked.....

But honestly, neither Vanity or Appolonia lasted more than 1 album so the world knows that they were extremely lacking in the "talent" department.

Well Vanity did last more than one album, just not with Prince, she did movies and a few albums

Apollonia was only sign on to do the Purple Rain movie/album
She wasn't in it for the long hall
