Who thinks Prince should do the next James Bond Themesong? who agrees with me that if he did a themesong for a jamesbond movie the ratings of the movie would go through the roof....if he did one the song should be called like The Man With The Purple Gun... It's actually not a bad idea, but then again Prince probably believes he's better artistically for movies and the movie industry. I believe he'd make a great villian... Plus a soundtrack would be great! GMAN | |

BTW, Has anyone listened to the "Another way to die". Is it my imagination or does it incorporate some pieces from EAST off the NEWS album? I love Alicia Keys and like Jack Black, but that collaboration (Bond theme) was a complete disaster. The verses are really cool, then the chorus sounds like they're yelling at each other out of tune. It didn't have that "richness" that most Bond movie themes have. I don't think Prince would be a good choice for a Bond theme. | |

Something in the vein of "Boom" or "Dreamer"! that's funny, the first song i thought of when i read the title of this thread was "boom". with a few minor tweaks that would work very well. i was born with the wrong sign, in the wrong house, with the wrong ascendancy | |

i think it'd be interesting to say the least. i'd suspend my expectations. speaking of bond themes. i'm not a madonna fan, but her theme song might surpass Duran Duran's as my fave. (and might be my fave song by her period) the way they used it in the movie opening fit perfectly | |

Prince would be a fantastic choice for a Bond theme song, he would nail it! In fact, the Crimson & Clover video is visually very much like the opening montages of a Bond movie. I love that video. I would love for Prince to do the theme song for a Bond movie. Maybe he could get Sheena Easton's advice? I thought the Jack Black/Alisha Keys combo was excellent, the best of recent years. He needs some strings, otherwise it's all over from the off. All the peeps who checked Boom and Dreamer are on the money in my book  | |
