Dance for me Music Video Dream I was jammin to MPLSOUND before bed last night and drifted off to sleep and dreamt of Prince being this puppet and the strings being pulled by Camille. I know...its wierd but it wouldn't be a bad idea for a music video. Thoughts? | |

That's an interesting idea. A question, tho...how would the average person/video watcher know that the string-puller is Camille? How would you communicate it, visually? "Dowload, a future for the rice lady

I had a dream very similar to that once. Only, Camille wasn't the one pulling his strings. 
My dream was very sad, actually. So I don't like this idea for a D4M video, at all.  Of course, I'm a Liberal! I'm an American, damn it!

i don't think the general audience would have to know it was 'camille,' per se, but you could dress the camille prince up in his fur jacket from the 'sott' tour, or something similarly 'sexy,' and have him be really animated like prince used to do. i don't think it would be too hard to get across the idea of an 'evil' character pulling the 'serene' prince's strings. it's time for a new direction / it's time for jazz to die | |

at the end of the video there could be a fortune teller machine like in the movie 'big' and it would be carved and painted to look like prince. it's mechanical hand would be rhythmically working an old-fashioned credit card machine that runs your card over, and over, and over... as the sound fades out with the laughing from the end of 'batdance.' it's time for a new direction / it's time for jazz to die | |
