Chocolate box .. end of Q tips rap....lol

Ok so as im driving and listening to th new music and at the end of q tips rap on chocolate box and he says "where the drums' IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY because the drums don't come in instead the synthesizers do lol i was expecting a funky drum solo .... fit fit


Does this drive any 1 else crazy

Can't say it drives me crazy, but I did notice that, too. Maybe it's Prince's way of toying with Q-tp. Like, oh, you want drums? I'm gonna keep you hanging.

Prince says it at the start too. Maybe they're asking a question? Perhaps they lost his real drum kit somewhere and had to make do with the Linn machine? lol

Prince does that a lot.

How often do you hear him sing an intro to his guitar and then no guitar kicks in?

In Ol School.... he sings about old school melodies yet there is no melody in the song!

Yeah, like a sort of "where's the bass" question when listening to When Doves Cry??
