okay, we've got almost 2 hours to kill...

...but i'd like to know what songs you may have hated at first and have now come to love, like, or at least appreciate. i noticed a lot of the songs listed in the embarrassment thread fit that category for me i.e. Willing and Able or Take Me With U. is this a sign of maturity or degenerating taste? hmmm

Lion of Judah was a recent one...
I have "rediscovered" many songs YEARS after first listening to them!
They take a while to grow on you...I guess.
The opposite can be said for those songs I've burned out from too many plays.

I didn't like the studio version at all, but the ALMA awards version was pretty good I think!

I couldn't stand Strollin' when I first heard D&P and I would always skip that track. It wasn't until the ONA tour when he mixed it with U Want Me that I started to like it and now I absolutely love it..

Some people are like Slinkies...

They're good for nothing but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.
