That British zombie movie where they throw Prince records at the zombies in order to kill them.

Yeah, but that got censored right after. I have two versions on VHS and the second version uses a "Delirious" knock off called "Twisted". Very similar in melody but totally different song and, of course, not a Prince song.

Dan Brown mentions his symbol in one of his books, "Angels and Demons" or "The Da Vinci Code". I think it was the former. Does anyone know which one for sure?

I remember laughing my ass off at a Prince appearance on Animaniacs. Yakko is playing a detective, and he says something about "dusting for prints." A minute later, his sister Dot pops up and says, "Yakko, look, I found Prince!" and she's literally holding up Prince like he's a sack of flour or something. Yakko says, "No, FINGERprints!" and Dot looks at Prince and goes, "Ew, I don't think so" and throws him out the window.

Ah, found it. http://www.youtube.com/wa...xmAC9Qu908

Of course there is the scene from n'Pretty Woman' where Julia Roberts sings 'Kiss' in the bathtub.
And wasn't there an 'X Files' episode where Mulder refers to 'Soft And Wet'..?

The film Unbreakable, when the wife answers the "what's your favourite song" question with Soft and Wet.

Lenny Henry certainly seems to enjoy mentioning him in his stand up routines.
So look into the mirror, do u recognise some1? Is it who u always hoped u would become, when u were young?

There were at least 3 references to Prince on the Golden Girls.

Purple Rain was referenced on King of Queens.

Corey Feldman wore a Purple Rain t-shirt on the Goonies.

I will try to think of more.
