My guess about the 24th in "lala-land" Just a guess...be on the lookout for Target stores in Southern California "Closed 4 Special Event" starting the 24th. "Special Event" being a live in-store performance @ Target. I have no inside information...just a theory. Think of all the FREE publicity that would generate if they close a Target store to have Prince play. Target gets a free commercial and Prince's new CD set gets publicized. Yeah...Amoeba would be logical, but seeing how it is a Target EXCLUSIVE, I'd say various southland Targets.

It just seems so "beneath him" to play in aisle 7 at Target. But, he did do a Vegas revue... If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

My guess is Target in WeHo. It has a small courtyard with a video screen... Or there's the Target at LaCienega and Rodeo Road. It's a much larger store in a black neighborhood with a large fenced in parking lot suitable for an outdoor gig. | |

playing inside Target is a tad lacking of mood...
he should play something fantastic.... like when U2 played Justin Herman Plaza in San Francisco... that's what he needs... no hate on Target BUT Prince can do better venue-wise. | |
