The worst was the LoveSexy/GB/Rave period. The long hair and makeup looks terrible. When ever he rocked the long hair and make-up the album doesn't do well. When ever he looks normal (Diamonds and Pearls, Musicology, etc.) the album or atleast Prince is well received. The girl look is just wrong. JMO Didn't his hair look short during Batman and then long again for GB? Prime aka The Kid

JMO Didn't his hair look short during Batman and then long again for GB? nah, it just seemd like that in things like the party man video or the joker bits of the batdance vid. but remember the "real" prince in the batdance video, spinning records and grinding on a guitar during the solo? he's got his long GB-type of hair there. same thing for the nude tour in 89, long hair all the way, some of his best pictures were taken during that era. he looked young, vibrant and healthy. i loved it when he had that beard during the GB period. looks a bit christ like but i guess that was the vibe he was going for. i kind of like all his looks, they're all ok with me altho he did look kind of foolish several times in some of the RAVE promo shots where he rocks the braided hair with long ribbons tied to it. wtf? or during a few of the npgmc era pictures in silly hats and unflattering clothes. but for the most part his look fits the "era" or where he's at. during "come/gold" he looked almost ill at times but the look somehow still fit. i was born with the wrong sign, in the wrong house, with the wrong ascendancy | |

Best: Purple Rain, Parade, Sign of the Times, Lovesexy, New Power Soul,Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic (musically wasn't the best though)

Worst: whenever he's dressed regular: (didn't care 4 the regular Parade era suits/I did like the tux & ocean waves though) Graffiti Bridge (to Michael Jacksonish)didn't care much for the Diamonds & Pearls look(too clean) most of everything after that especially when he wore the heavy white makeup, the Sacrifice of Victor) look
