What are you expecting from Lotusflow3r?

What will it have to sound like to be great album?



The songs I've heard from the album are all really good but I don't feel any of them really top notch. If the whole album is at this level for me it will be a success but I'm hoping I'm yet to hear the best.

I'm hoping the album has a consistent sound,that songs all sound like they belong together.

I liked Planet Earth but always felt Future Baby Mama, Mr Goodnight and Chelsea Rodgers were good songs that belonged on a different album. I hope Lotus doesn't make this mistake.

I really hope it has some funk mixed in there and that it's quite psychedlic.

all I want is about 5 really good songs..

More musical growth. Man, Prince is so far ahead musically, that it aint even funny.

I have no expectations. I hope it's good, even great but if it isn't, oh well. I've set myself up too many times with my expectations and I'm not doing it again.

Prince.org is a cemetery where folks mourn Prince instead of celebrate him and his music. Last time I checked, Prince isn't dead yet.

I'm hoping it will be good, but I'm not confident, especially as his albums have almost all been weak since 1990 or thereabouts.

I want something far better than his last 3 previous (weak) cds!

Shouldn't this be in the "Prince-Music & More" section??

In terms of music, i am expecting the new music and maybe something akin to the virtual b-sides we got on the last sit. Other that that, I am sure he'll have a shop of stuff.

That's all I am expecting...not too much.

I have given up hoping for some real good stuff from him again, but I wish to be proven wrong. Really.

I'm expecting a kinda cross between The Gold Experience and The Rainbow Children.

It's always nice to hear Prince's voice...Sometimes I can be critical of certain lyrics, however, I always love the music overall.

I don´t expect much change... I hope he surprise me 4 good

From what I've heard it has zero chance of being "great" so it may be too late to answer that. Prince hasn't reached greatness since Lovesexy but he's managed a lot of very very good stuff since then...and then mountains of mediocrity. I'd be happy with a tight set of very good songs on each disc.

It seems I'm definitely in the minority here, but I'm expecting greatness. And based on the four complete songs and the one minute-and-a-half snippet I've already heard and already love, I honestly don't think it can fail to deliver completely for me.

Good music, melodies and interesting lyrics hopefully. I'd also like if there were a few good slow songs like "The Dance" or something . I've liked the songs that leaked so far though, so I hope the whole album is just as good.

Shit, at this point I'd welcome a covers album . . . just to hear Prince singing and playing guitar again.

I am expecting (2) standout uptempo tracks and (1) standout ballad per album.

Seriously, 3 songs per CD and I will be happy.

I'm xpecting great music,az alwayz.Prince never letz me down.

This will be one of his most consistent relases imo.
