Prince work with Pink? In the January 2009 issue of "Sound & Vision" there is a review of Pink's new CD entitled Funhouse. In the review it says "Instead, she enlisted Max Martin, Butch Walker, and (on the Prince-ly title track) No Doubt's Tony Kanal to assist in gilding her poison arrows."

Sure would imply that Prince wrote or performed on the album's title track? Anyone hear of this? Not sure but she has an amazing voice. At least she has the vocal ability to accompany his arrangements. " I often watch you, the way you whore yourself. You are so beautiful, the way you flirt and tease. How I wish you would flirt with me." --- MeShell N'degeOchello

I don't think it implies anything other than that the track in question "sounds" like Prince *in style*, not that he had anything to do with it. It doesn't seem to me from this description that there's any evidence of royal goings-on. We are stardust. We are golden.

The same way other artists' good songs that sound like Stevie's are often called "Wonder-ful." No involvement implied. Just the artist's sound.

QFT. It just means the writer of the piece thinks it has a Prince-type sound to it, not that he actually had any involvement (which he didn't). [Edited 1/4/09 11:12am]

I like Pink and I like the track Funhouse but I wouldn't describe it as even remotely Princely. And now for a cup of tea.
