[Edited 12/22/08 12:08pm] what version of girl do you have? the edit or the original long version (7:35) because i never cared too much for the song until i heard the long version for the first time and i was completely sold on it. in fact it has since become one of my fav prince songs ever. somehow if you only know and listen to the edit, you seem to be missing the entire point of the song since there is so very much more to it than that. i was born with the wrong sign, in the wrong house, with the wrong ascendancy | |

i guess with a catalogue as extensive as prince's, there are bound to be some songs you can't stand. for me personally, there used to be about 3 or 4 songs that i could simply not listen to, ever. but over the past decade there are more and more songs adding to those few initial ones lol. i can't stand to listen to half of musicology or planet earth i was born with the wrong sign, in the wrong house, with the wrong ascendancy | |

Not saying it's bad, but since the first live rock version of 'Witness 4 the prosecution' is miles ahead of the camille version, I cannot listen to that one. Always put on the other version. | |
