ON THIS DATE 1997

THE ARTIST FORMERLY KNOWN AS PRINCE: LOOKING BACK
UNDATED (AP) - On this date in 1997, The Artist Formerly Known
As Prince -- as he was known at the time -- took to the stage for a
performance in his hometown of Minneapolis. It was the first time
he had played there in ten years. About 14-thousand fans attended
the sold-out concert.

I will never forget that year! eek My first concert of him and my dream came true...me on stage at an after show = one of my best memories ever! wink

depends on how u look at it, cause there had been plenty of per4mance in the mpls area by prince/ prince prior 2 this concert at the target center

the truth will b told and 4 those that fear that xposure of it ..oh well! u won't ever silence me. the innocent have voices that need 2 b heard and u will hear them
