Prince said in an interview that it was a true story: "we're all friends" ... he said the outfit part wasn't true but the basketball game was.... Prime aka The Kid

I know the pancake story is truth.. cause Anthony Anderson told the exact same story about how him and his wife went to Prince's house (when Prince was in MN), he said Prince and the band jammed for him and his wife in Prince's living room (  ) until 5am.. and a chef came out afterwards serving pancakes.. | |

all i want 2 know is does prince really have a set play in his playbook called darling pickett!! the truth will b told and 4 those that fear that xposure of it ..oh well! u won't ever silence me. the innocent have voices that need 2 b heard and u will hear them | |

- His reputation for after-hours parties/jam sessions is legendary... - Many people claim he's a decent baller for his size and that he's extremely competetive when it comes to sports... - And Eddie Murphy also attended the Purple Rain Premiere back in '84, so clearly there was some respect between the two... Sure, many of the finer points are probably exaggerated for effect, but I think the essence of the story is true. MJ was there too...Rick James couldn't make it to the premiere.
