The aftershow in Portland was surreal, completely surreal, everybody on stage smiling the entire evening. Most memorable was A Case Of You, followed by Paisley Park, followed by Calhoun Square. That blew my doors right off. The band was tireless, played until 4am, the crowd was tireless and happy. During Peach he said something like "we're gonna keep this goin for 20 minutes". Then they did. He rolled all over us with the guitar solos. Everything was so raw, it was a tiny venue. I don't know, there was just something about the feeling at that show, that I never felt at any other show, I can't put my finger on it though. | |
