no, there were no barriers around the o2, or the musicology in the round shows, which all had seating around the stage (which was too high to require barriers). it looks like an ONA show in a large venue instead of the usual theaters All the latest Prince worldwide news and reviews in one easy to find place www.thedawnexperience.co.uk

It's from his Rolling Stone featured story, I believe. Check out my band WDG Solid Experiment's hilarious new album Birds & Bears: http://www.facebook.com/p...603?ref=ts

the nite b4 cafe de paris prince stage dived at the hippodrome aftershow party. he was wearing a woolen cardigan type thing. he landed on me but was more spread out over fans who passed him back a bit before pushing him back on stage. i say stage, but it was really just 2 or 3 steps higher as it was a nightclub. at cafe de paris the stage was actually the staircase, with the drumkit at the top of the stairs, and guitar and keyboards halfway down the staircase that came from both left and right, and the stage was the bottom part of the stairs, 3 steps from the floor. prince stage dived 3 times that nite, and literally landed smack on top of me all 3 times. in the first picture i posted, you can't even see me cuz prince is on top of me, thats my friend gavin on the left, and the guy on the right who had the same gold npg t shirt as me was on my right he didn't stagedive at the o2/indigo2, but one night he was smacking hands with people, and when he got to our part of the stage at the left, he stuck his hand out, then turned his back to us with his hand out, and then just fell back like he did at the rock n roll hall of fame, and landed on top of us, not quite a stage dive, but he fell off stage on top of us. one of the security guys from the venue, not princes main guys, came over to help him back onstage, but as prince had his hands behind his back he couldn't help pull him onstage, and as he wasn't being molested he just left him and we pushed him back onstage. he pretended like he was going to jump again a few times over the 21 nites, but never did oh, and i have seen him leave his guitar in the audience a few times, the hohner, to be pulled out by his guitar tech or kathy. larry does a similar thing sometimes. i've hit the strings a few times with them doing that. i think larry did it at cafe de paris. i'm not sure if it's on the video as they only broadcast half the 2 hour show. i have the official vhs that i got at paisley park at the first celly All the latest Prince worldwide news and reviews in one easy to find place www.thedawnexperience.co.uk
