When prince tours: intimate stage or performing in the round?

I wanna be close enough to Prince where I can see his eyes--cause those are GORGEOUS--but far enough away that when I cry during Purple Rain or I faint during Quesiton of U (whichever comes first) he's not able to see me! LOL.

That'd be embarrassing.

The Lovesexy concert tape might look cool becasue it was filmed by multiple cameras following him around, But, I was at one of those Lovesexy shows and it gets old real fast!, you are waiting for him to come around to a to your side, and even then you got to have great seats.
Please no more in the round type concerts, a gimick that really pisses me off.

Just from my experience the crowds in the round tend to get into the show more. I think it helps to look to the stage and see all the people in the background having a blast...it seems more contageous. From the one experience of being in a small venue like theater everyone tended to just sit and watch the show...that's ok....but I love to dance and get the vibe from everyone around me....in a theater you can't see everyone and I think people get shy or uncomfortable to get up and dance...

"Phyllis Hyman," and "Ashford&Simpson" at the "Front Row." This Theatre in the round that moved...was spectacular from the Hall around the last row of seats.
They shut it down a couple of years later...What a stomache stab for a music lover.

If Prince would have played there, it would have been breathtaking I'm sure.

normal stage and small venues please. Why not try venues normally used for classical music?

The sound in the 02 is somewhat lacking and a small gig makes you feel really a part of what is happening on stage.

Intimate...The ONA gigs I went to are some of the best gigs I've ever seen.Dont get me wrong its nice to see Prince doing stadium gigs again but its a much more personal experience in a more intimate setting.
More intimate setting would cater more for the "real fan" with much more obscure tracks and not so many crowd friendly hits.
