I wanna be close enough to Prince where I can see his eyes--cause those are GORGEOUS--but far enough away that when I cry during Purple Rain or I faint during Quesiton of U (whichever comes first) he's not able to see me! LOL.
I love a Man who:

Just from my experience the crowds in the round tend to get into the show more. I think it helps to look to the stage and see all the people in the background having a blast...it seems more contageous. From the one experience of being in a small venue like theater everyone tended to just sit and watch the show...that's ok....but I love to dance and get the vibe from everyone around me....in a theater you can't see everyone and I think people get shy or uncomfortable to get up and dance...

Back in the early 80's...I was so damn fortunate to see..."Diana Ross," one night.
Here we are in this big ole' empty room, starin' eachother down.
U want me just as much as I want U, let's stop foolin' around.~Prince

normal stage and small venues please. Why not try venues normally used for classical music?

My only experience at such a place is the Royal Albert Hall which sounds like absolute shite UNLESS it's classical music. Went to a classical concert there once as a kid with my parents and it was great. Went to a "Pop" show there once and it was THE worst I've ever been to because the acoustics were so bad you couldn't hear anything that was said or sung.

"Phyllis Hyman," and "Ashford&Simpson" at the "Front Row." This Theatre in the round that moved...was spectacular from the Hall around the last row of seats. They shut it down a couple of years later...What a stomache stab for a music lover. If Prince would have played there, it would have been breathtaking I'm sure. I saw Luther Vandross on a moving circle stage... that was cool he didn't have to move much

I have been to popconcerts in several concerthalls normally used for classical music (concertgebouw Amsterdam, Salle Pleyel Paris, Boston Opera house) and found the sound tremendous. Maybe it's got to do with the fact that the Royal Albert Hall is round?

intimate stage and small venues..thus the fans that really know his music have a good time..keep the general public out!!! I'm on the phone with Clarence Willliams III 2 bitch slap Prince again. Then I'm going 2 tie Prince up and let Apples have her revenge and bitchslap him again!

Intimate...The ONA gigs I went to are some of the best gigs I've ever seen.Dont get me wrong its nice to see Prince doing stadium gigs again but its a much more personal experience in a more intimate setting.
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
