With all the buzz about Indigo Nights, I thought it would be fun to dust off my old VHS and share this classic with some of you younglings that might not have ever enjoyed this...





ONLY ON.....

Wow, that has brought back some memories - I used to have this, following the Channel 4 (UK) showing of the concert, I loved it, and just got excited at the box and everything.

It was pivotol in my relationship with Prince, his music, his live performances and his bands - I can still pull out so many highlights from this, without even seeing it again - Irresistible Bitch, Possessed (awesome), When Doves Cry (mega awesome), Baby I'm A Star (Appollonia in stockings - awesome), and of course the best ever performance I have ever seen of Purple Rain.

I still have it, but no VHS recorder, and will never get rid of it - please someone release this on DVD along with Lovesexy as a special Prince Collector's item, seminal!

It was released in 1985. It is the entire Purple Rain concert. Not to be missed.

That's why I was way out in the bleachers, soooo many fans then...we got on the floor of the stadium and almost got crushed by the people...at like the 50yd line...and went back to our bleachers!!!!!

Prince absolutely killed Purple Rain that night...
