When I saw 'Purple Rain' (the tribute band) in Dublin they played this, it was BRILLIANT! I do love that song. Purple Rain are fantastic btw, I don't normally like tribute bands, especially not Prince tribute bands! But they really are the REAL DEAL, amazingly good...Prince and the Revolution style! Wake up children, dance the dance electric... there isn't much time.... who screamed? Was it U...? | |

didn't know most of what he was saying 'til i got the songbook later that year Hmmmmm I only became a fan 3 years ago and as we know the sound on his earlier albums are terrible on cd format...i always thought it was cuz of that i couldnt understand what he was singing on Mountains....so cant u understand it on viynl either? so many things i havent seenit's just the raw footage of them filming the promo video from different angles, and with close ups on P and then the band and then the same with the black and white bits of 'tricky', 'mary' and 'katey', about an hour or so long. nice close ups of P dancin and crawlin 2wards the camera. | |

Yeh, seen them 3 times here in Ipswich. Mountains, G&B and Kiss always get one hell of a response from the crowd...last time they were here they added '7' to the playlist, not a song I would have thought would have been easy to cover and do it justice. Brilliant! This is what it's like in the dream factory... | |
