I used to love the way that Prince doesn't just pose for a picture--he also poses his hands. He really puts a lot of thought into how his fingers will appear.

That said, I'm not wild about all the preview photos I've seen of 21 Nights. They look photoshopped, affected, and a little unnatural. I love Randee St. Nicholas's work, but what I've seen so far seems . . . bland. I hope there are some in there that are spontaneous and unposed; Prince just casual and unaware that the camera is on him. That would be something cool.

People need to stop wining about his recent pics being too photo shopped. What he hell do you all want anyway? Pics of him just out of bed in the morning, unbrushed teeth, no makeup, messy bed head, unshaven, and scratching his balls? You'd all be bitching about how old and disgusting he looks...the guy can't win!!! Face it! The only place you're gonna see him truly candid is on stage. Last year when I saw him from two feet away at 3121 he looked incredible...yeah he really does look like his pics!!!!!

Let it go, and enjoy the damnd book!

Ob. By now pretty much everyone on here has seen him look as you describe. We are used to seeing him "unaltered" natural. The photoshoping tends to make the visual experience even more two dimensional.It's just our opinion that's all. And no Prince can't please everyone.

These pictures aren't impressive at all!
I want something outside the box, like back in the days, I know he's matured, but damn, looking in mirrors and getting in and out of cars, isn't gonna sell a book PRINCE, bring some music and dvds out, I don't want no damn pix!

I want High Quality Sound and Picture DVD's "Love Sexy", "Act 1 & 2", 21 NIGHTS, VEGAS SHOWS.

Bring us what we want, no more picture books and half ass jam sessions!
If you were gonna do that, why not include a dvd and the track with Any Winehouse on the cd?????

Well, if the date has been delayed until next year then lets all hope that in true Prince form he will change it up and all will be good and he'll surprise us all. Let's hope he's just playing with us

I thought that was a chicks face/eye when I first saw that reflection pic...

Well, since I don't want to toot my own horn, wait I played an armstrong trumpet in a military band for four years - I do get to toot my own horn... sooo with that being said...I shall continue!

Please note the below is from a professional perspective, since I am a magnificent photographer (so they say - whomever they is professionally).

First and foremost!

Great shot of getting the focus of Mr. Nelson and the reflection in the mirror. At that angle the first situation you have to realize is lighting... the camera will catch off shoots of light in any direction, so with that being said is a great achievement to get that clarity and focus on the actual and the reflection with the magnificent capture of the eye and a statement within it!

Secondly and not less than the first and foremost is!

The fact that that he to me in that photo as observation is thus...
Beyond the illusions of the physical sense is a world of truth in the motion of energy within the mirror to which somebody towards somebody is being watched and told "your being watched". It also says - who is watching whom? The ambience and mysteriousness of it all is well, "outstanding".

The above is simply my opinion and should not be thrown asunder for anything but my opinion; if in fact, you do enjoy then I smile AND if in fact, you don't well go float a ship past the great houdini path.

Great photo, Great statement and truly enjoyable.
