"Around The World In A Day" - Self Made Special Edition

I posted this in a previous thread but I just wanted to re-post it for those who LOVE this album and might have missed it.

"Around The World In A Day" was and is a brilliant record. For me it brings back a ton of memories, all good. I loved this period of '85 leading up to the "Parade" era including all the related artists releases.

In fact, I put together my own special edition version of "ATWIAD". It's a fantastic version of the album that I encourage and recommend some of you make for your collection. I included all full 12" singles, B-Sides and Album extended versions. I also used Adobe Audition to bump and match all sound levels so that it has close as possible to a remastered and clean high quality sound. I plan on doing the same projects for Purple Rain, Parade, Sign Of The Times, LoveSexy and Batman soon. I have made an "ALL" Prince version of "Graffiti Bridges" that includes 12"/Extended versions and I must say...IT ROCKS! ; )

Extended 'Day' and 'Tambourine'? Where from?

This is just me being picky but there is no such thing as an "extended fresh dance mix" of "Pop life", there is the Fresh dance mix from the US 12" which runs a little over 6 minutes, then there is the extended mix from the UK 12" that runs a little over 9 minutes but it's not called the extended fresh dance mix.

As for the extended versions of "ATWIAD" and "Tamborine", they are fan made. Both sound excellent. ATWIAD is fantastic and features the drums more, does not fade out and is similar to the original without departing from the actual song, just extended. Tamborine is the same as well but has an extended opening drum section and ending. Very NICE! The whole album flows much better this way.
