Not another VS thread I can see myself 98 years old and chatting on the org with cane and walker in hand plus going to tribute concerts cause that guy name Prince will be long gone and will have to sit next to the speakers just to hear the dam music because my hearing aid died

Most people will pick SOTT, in a 19 to 20 ratio. Why? Cuz it is a more firm, memorable, sexy, exciting record that has more going for it than ATWIAD. That said, I love, love, love both for very different reasons. As always, the VS threads are weird, cuz they are rather pointless. ...can't stop what's coming // can't stop what's on its way...

SOTT kicks AWOD's ass every day of the week and twice on sunday. it was more sexy funky rhythmic and socially conscious. I like AWOD a lot but I LOVE SOTT. Now as for the look he was rockin...they cancel each other out! ~

I say "Around the World in a Day" wins. What do you think? Around the World in a Day is short and sweet and Prince was at his musical peak with it. The vocals are driving the music and he's totally loose on it, I love it!

Pears. Ignore this post.
I don't need the encouragement. "Criticism is the laziest form of expression ." - some deep dude.

It was smokin, he was playing it on an acoustic guitar but it was a rockin verision of it like when he plays When U Were Mine. "Ain't nutin but a muffin got a whole lot of butter to go"

He played a lot of the songs from Around the World and Parade. I started catching his shows when LOVESEXY came out and saw both shows he played in Oakland and the San Francisco aftershow. They were all fantastic!!

Both are excellent. Though the two albums are so different it'd be like comparing a truck to a monkey, nevermind apples and oranges.
It's not that The Joker's gay. What he is, is Batsexual. He'd be whacking it to Batsy whether our hero had girl parts or boy parts underneath that rubber.

Don't forget Joni Mitchell, Stevie Nicks, and even Ms. Dorothy Parker herself. Prince's female influences were just as strong on this album as his male influences were IMO.
