BTW, this thread was inspired by a HILARIOUS earlier, old prince.org thread, whose url escapes me at the moment. At one point I had written to a moderator about the original thread, expressing my love for it and wanting to resurrect it or something, but in my experience the moderators here have a thing about answering personal messages (they don't do it). But perhaps it would behoove one of them to do some research and point us to the original thread I speak of, because it was hi-freakin-larious.

That was creepy! Awwe...The best was to describe this still, is the parabolical emotion Prince has within the look on his face...I just wanted to hug him for the rest of his life when I saw this part of the movie. When you're heart has been through every angle, and down every weary road,
And a miracle is you're only option, Believe.~T

FOUND IT!!! http://prince.org/msg/7/196806?&pg=2 [Edited 8/3/08 14:23pm] I can see myself 98 years old and chatting on the org with cane and walker in hand plus going to tribute concerts cause that guy name Prince will be long gone and will have to sit next to the speakers just to hear the dam music because my hearing aid died

My initial reaction of hilarity was that I thought the very first picture was Shirley Hemphill until I was about 3 posts down. That aside, many of the pictures (creative interpretations, if you will) that are lucky enough to still be hanging around 5 years later are ingenious!! Anyone remember Fotonovels?

I know you were only trying to help geesh, whoever he/she is. I'm sure there's good reason for no Grafitti "tribute." My fondest memory of it is Ingrid's bad lipsync in "Love Machine." Cute as a button though.
