Underrated gem. Only "classic" on that album. I miss the princely introspection.

I like that song sometimes.
I sing it though, whenever I'm around my friend Vicky

This song rates right there with Dorothy Parker for me. I think there's some truth for Prince in the lyrics,"Talk of children still frightens me....what a difference a copy makes. This I one day hope to see".

Hey...Prince is a Father in my eyes. And Vicki Waiting is a good song. Although in the world of Prince music being ahead of it's time...I don't think she will be waiting much longer.

Great song. I tihnk it's a WEE bit out of place on that particular record, but it still fits. But just barely.

One of my favorites. Havnt played it in a while. The Batman album doesnt get talked about much, unless its EC or Scand.

I can never listen 2 this song just once.Love it.

Bouncy as hell...a great slice of pop that Prince use to be able to do in his sleep but now has a little more trouble with. Strong introspective lyrics and the best song of the album IMHO.

I would give cash money to hear the extended version, if one ever existed.

Never really liked it.

'Vicki Waiting' is my favorite song on the "Batman" soundtrack.

I can write a psychology thesis on Prince's thoughts of monogamy, children, and violence based off this one song.

i don't know about a dissertation! But this one of my favorites off the soundtrack.
