Prince profit from new Batman movie?

I was just wondering, if the growing interest in this new Batman movie will have new fans gaining interest in the old material, could Prince benefit from profits for his contributions in anyway? smile

i don't know, but i doubt it, as his soundtrack is so hard to find hmm .

I can believe that anyone that hasn't seen the previous, "Batman," movies...will possibly purchase them in the future....I don't know how royalties on movies with Soundtracks work...That is a good question. cool

An updated version of "Dance with the Devil" may have fitted nicely in this new flick.

Sure, there's bound to be an upsurge in all things 'batty' over the next few weeks. People will check out the old movies, and this may in turn encourage them to seek out the Prince soundtrack... but I seriously doubt he would make any significant profits.

If he's smart he will make his sound track available again real soo. I walked by the Hot topic' store in the mall where I work and they've got everything BATMAN, even the old black t-shirts with the yelllow bat, and necklaces, and pictures. Prince knows about money he could be taking advantage of this right now! smile
