Anyone Remember the "P Control" Video?

Anyone remember the video for "P Control"?

I remember seeing it at one of his aftershows once.

I mention it, merely because in some lists of his videos (including Uptown) it isn't mentioned.

The clip I saw, had prince pull up in gold car and roll down the electric window rapping at a sexy girl standing next to the car. It was very cool.

The only version I ever saw was the VH-1 Fashion Awards where he opened the show with Mayte and other dancers on stage with him. They both had on red.

As far as I know there was only ever a small clip of the video circulating. I'm sure it was the part of the song when he says 'so I pulled up right beside her, my electric top went down...'. He jumps out of the car in the steet and starts rapping to a black girl.

If I remember corectly, didn't P shows various videos before he came on stage on his Gold tour? That is the only place I saw this part of the video.

I remember seeing the Same December Video (P with black and white makeup)
And one with Mayte at a large church. Which I think was Into The Light.

In the uk [wembley arena] The Family and various other related bands videos where playing before gig [5th march]

I love the same December video.

The P Control video was only a clip, along with the "Gold Experience, release date...never!" slides. the clip showed Prince doing the "I pulled up right beside her....." bit. It showed him going into the club too. It looked a great video.

The videos shown in full before the show were The Same December, Annalee, 18 and over and Empty Room (Thats the one with Mayte in front of the stained glass window).

Its the only time at a live show where I wanted the build up to continue!

I remember watching it, and other rare videos, at the NPG Store in Camden town in 1995 before it closed!! sad mad
